There are 10 more gallons of Tomatoes to pick and can...whew!
I'm 2 weeks behind quilting this quilt because of the those blasted Tomatoes!!!
(Notice my quilt frame is smack dab in the middle of my pretty new kitchen...best light, what can I say? I just hope I don't have company before I finish this quilt or better yet, it gives me one more reason to turn my dining room into my new sewing studio. Then I won't need to put my quilt frame in the kitchen at any time!! My family is not a fan of my new plan to say the least.)
Any one else conflicted with summer chores or
activities and your quilting/sewing projects?
Blessings
Oh that quilt is so pretty. Maybe you could quilt a little, can a little and before you know it, both will be done!
ReplyDeleteA week at the Jamboree will give the Scouts the leader they need to attend and have fun. In exchange I get to sleep on the ground, keep the ducks in line, and no quilting (or reading my favorite blogs, for that matter).
ReplyDeleteHehe, I am always conflicted. Me and my husband help out his grandmother when she needs a hand with house cleaning and yard work. We have been pretty busy this summer at her house and quilting projects are usually too big to bring along for breaks. During the cooler months I am attending college to finish my Bachelor Degree in Business/Accounting. Full time classes generate many hours of homework and it really cuts into my quilting time. Fortunately one year to go and I graduate in the spring.
ReplyDeleteMmmmmmmmmmm, delicious.I love eating tomatoes and your quilting is just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove tomatoes , the quilt is beautiful is it for you or a customer? It has been so hot here I haven't done much quilting.
ReplyDeleteSomedays I almost wish for a little cloud cover so I feel like I can stay in and sew! Your tomatoes and your quilt look wonderful!
ReplyDeleteOf course! The weather is great but I want to be inside sewing too.
