I Piece 2-Maryxc
I wish I had created more projects for the Blog Hop but there have been a few "Wicked Storms" that have attacked my family as of late, the kind that get hold of you heart, throat, and stomach, and don't seem to want to let go. All my Mama friends out there know what I mean....those times when you simply have to
LET GO AND LET GOD"
I'm not so good at letting go.
I've begun a daily Prayer Journal
A nice Mini-Quilt for my stand
APPLIQUE METHOD
2 Cute appliques Pumpkins with Insul-Brite
A simple Bag-It for the Season
The grandpeeps love these placemaps
Wonderfully wicked projects! Fun, fun, fun!

ReplyDeleteI certainly understand why the Grandpeeps love the placemats. They are adorable. Your mini quilt is cute in the frame. Very fitting for the season. And an adorable bag, I love the coordinating top.
ReplyDeleteJane, will you please contact me, I have some info about some Marshall memorabilia. I don't know if you are interested or not. I have contact info for the person who made the items. I've known for some time they were a possibility and couldn't say anything. May your storms rapidly pass. Saturday we had a memorial service for my ex-husband of just 7 months who was found dead in his apartment. His family is all out of state and have done almost nothing. I think the hardest part of the grief process so far as been with the dysfunction of his family and the horrible stories they told me about him that just do not line up with the person I knew. The last thing he told me a few weeks before he died was - I still love you. They have asked me for information - the doctor's name, the dentist's name (so he could be id'd by dental records), and what the church did with his donated items. I think they need to be asking the church that not me. I just want nothing more to do with them. They are planning no service for him at all. He was a Christian and that brings me great comfort. Praying for you and the storms. May the Peace that surpasseth all understand be yours today.
Your riot story below is great, hope your riot that is happening now passes soon and love your Halloween decorations.
ReplyDeleteI hope your storms pass and those "storm clouds break as blessings on your head", as the song goes. (I may have misquoted it somewhat, but the idea is the same. ) Your projects are all wonderful!
