What has Gmama Been up to in the sewing cave?
Well, some things got finished and some did not.  You see, #1 Husband had this little surgery thing...well most of you who read my blog regularly know what *fun* we've been having here at the Farmhouse.  I did, however, manage to get a few Ghastlie Items made and I'll admit it was great Therapy to retreat to my sewing cave and spend time with all my ghastlie friends...my favorite being Miss Prudence aka  Hammer Girl.  So here goes......

I found this orange Sebastian  and ghastlie pumpkin fabric at our local Quilt Show in  fat quarters
No other vendor at the show had even HEARD of The Ghastlies line...

I hope I didn't disappoint too much.  After all, consider I'm posting the SAME DAY with Madame Samm.  That's pretty Intimidating don't ya think???

Seriously...for just a moment...the last few weeks around the Farmhouse have been a little "challenging" to put it nicely.  Having these ghastlie projects to work on has been such a stress reliever and has brought more than a few smiles on some dreary days.  Knowing that YOU, my Sistah's in Crime, would be here to cheer me on, kept me going.  No, I didn't finish everything but I didn't even allow that to stress me.  I was having fun!  Thank you Mathilda, Prudence, Sebastian, and all the other Ghastlie Cast of Characters for making the load a tad bit lighter.  Thank You, My Friends and Loyal Followers.

    I know you have been quite stressed and it is good you were able to get away. I have spent the last four days nursing my husband after hernia surgery and phew! you have a much longer road ahead of you. I will continue to pray for you and for Hubby! My hubby took to calling me "Nurse Betty" what does that tell you? LOL

    I'm loving all your Ghastlie creations! Great idea to fussy cut a "cup" shape for the coaster. How creative to have a window scene on your tablerunner. I hope things have calmed down alittle for you at home and your husband's surgery went well. I think you did a great job getting your projects done while balancing everything else in life. Loved that Ghastlie table runner - it showcased the house perfectly. I just love machine embroidery, too. Your unfinished coasters are darling; the Ghastlie cups are just the thing! Carol is definitely an artist. It's hard to believe she can create those portraits out of fabric.

    Well my sweet friend you did a Ghastlie job on everything especially as busy as you have been. I love them all especially the table runner and the tea cosy, I would love to win a prize from you.
    I have been having trouble finding the Ghastlie fabric up here in Canada. My local guilt store had never heard of it either. Where are these ladies heads.
