MY GHASTLIE TURN
DAY 10...IT'S OVER
but
LOOK
It looks just like me, Honest!
Mrs. Gmama Jane Ghastlie
My Big Reveal!!
Thank you Thank you Carol aka mamacjt
I saved this Fabric Portrait Reveal for MY Day on the Ghastlie Blog Hop.
It's MY Treat to myself. Carol T. is a True Artist!
and Now....
What has Gmama Been up to in the sewing cave?
Well, some things got finished and some did not. You see, #1 Husband had this little surgery thing...well most of you who read my blog regularly know what *fun* we've been having here at the Farmhouse. I did, however, manage to get a few Ghastlie Items made and I'll admit it was great Therapy to retreat to my sewing cave and spend time with all my ghastlie friends...my favorite being Miss Prudence aka Hammer Girl. So here goes......
Table Runner...Who's Coming to Dinner?
I made this design in a machine embroidery class at Hancock Fabrics!
Set of 4 Placemats
I found this orange Sebastian and ghastlie pumpkin fabric at our local Quilt Show in fat quarters
No other vendor at the show had even HEARD of The Ghastlies line...
Just not our kind of people, are they??
Reverse side for when I'm feeling *Normal*
Ghastlie Mug Rug
One of my *unfinished* projects
Set of 4 Coasters
Oh Look, There's My Sweet Little Prudence
Where's Her Hammer??
I will finish this set of coasters up for One of My Give-Aways
IF anyone is interested???
Tea Cup Cozy
A poor copy of Madame Samm's
My cozy isn't lined but I'll use it as a fill-in when I wash the original cuppa cozy Samm made for me
Oops, her *slip* is showing
My Ghastlie Grouping
Ghastlie Quilt Top
needs one more border of half-squares in some really cute Halloween polka-dot fabric
and then
It's YOURS...IF your Name is chosen by Mr. Random
THROW / LAP QUILT SIZE
Peeping thru the Window.....
I hope I didn't disappoint too much. After all, consider I'm posting the SAME DAY with Madame Samm. That's pretty Intimidating don't ya think???
Seriously...for just a moment...the last few weeks around the Farmhouse have been a little "challenging" to put it nicely. Having these ghastlie projects to work on has been such a stress reliever and has brought more than a few smiles on some dreary days. Knowing that YOU, my Sistah's in Crime, would be here to cheer me on, kept me going. No, I didn't finish everything but I didn't even allow that to stress me. I was having fun! Thank you Mathilda, Prudence, Sebastian, and all the other Ghastlie Cast of Characters for making the load a tad bit lighter. Thank You, My Friends and Loyal Followers.
Now...
If you want to win my TWO Giveaways...the Set of 4 coasters and the Quilt top

The Grand Prize from Madame Samm
