Ghastlie Blog Hop Day 2/Surgery Update

Ghastlie Blog Hop Day 2
and
#1 Husband's Surgery Update...Oh NO!!!!
Hmmm???... Do I see a strange resemblance to #1 husband aka...  Mr. Ghastlie??
This Thursday, #1 Mr. Ghastlie is having his "wing" repaired
and
Mrs. Gmama Ghastlie is bemoaning the future agony and suffering
of the next 4 weeks.  I'll be polishing up my broomstick in order to fly Mr. Ghastlie to and fro between Physical Therapy at the Bat Cave and Check-ups at the Doctor's Office.
To keep my sanity in between playing nursemaid and toddler sitting, Sidekick Scott and I will retreat to the Great Outdoors or The Sewing Cave
AND
Ghastlie Blog Hopping

  4. That resemblance is uncanny! I'm betting he will be just as grumbly for a few days as he looks in that picture. Just tell him that if he gets too bad, you'll turn him into a toad.

  5. Poor Roger -- I hope surgery is a huge success and he experiences *NO* pain and the recovery is quick and complete. Love you! :)

  6. What a busy week you are having. Hope all goes well with #1 and his wing heals well, and pt wears him out so he comes home and takes a nap...maybe at the same time as your little sidekick...wouldn't that be a miracle and answered prayer!
Thanks for posting for this Ghastly Hop. I would love to be jumping in on a few of these projects...I do have a yard of the "portrait" fabric. But it's not meant to be this year. My son is getting married next weekend and I'm quite"whelmed" (I refuse to call it over whelmed) with two families and guests coming to town from across the country. Lets swap prayers :o)

  7. It is just ghastlie to have any surgery! Good luck at being the in-house nurse...(I have experience!) Family members are worse than strangers, LOL!
Thank you and Madam Samm for the turn on to all the Ghastlie sistahs! I am having a wonderful(or shoud I say Ghastly) time!

  8. I am having a fun time with all the Ghastlies. When you and your sidekick take Grandpapa here and there be sure to keep a bag for the "I'm hungries" and the "what can I do, I'm bored" parts of the day.My sidekick and I made things with needle and thread, and we still do today. See ya tomorrow.

  10. What a clever woman you are-sewing #1 hubby a cape to keep his wing warm. We all know how hard a coat will be to put on after surgery. Hope he appreciates all your efforts.
You are both in my thoughts and prayers.

  11. Oh I wish I could jump my broomstick and come and help you out, I am a good nurse. These Ghastlie blogs are a hoot I am really enjoying them and the creativity is awe inspiring. Remember to take some time for yourself so you don't get sick with all your extra chores. I hope the surgery went well and his wing is healing as expected. Love and blessings Sandra
